Up for sale here is this complete rebuild kit for a Pioneer SX-424. This includes all the parts you need to rebuild the Pioneer SX-424 main board and tuner board, and includes upgraded replacement main capacitors and 4 new output transistors. This does not include new lights or fuses, but I do have the light kit available separately on eBay. This includes replacements for all of the electrolytic capacitors in the SX-424, as well as replacements for all the transistors except those in the tuner section, which should not be replaced. It also includes a new chassis-mount capacitor and 3 new rectifier diodes. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. The main cap is a Cornell-Dubilier 4700 uf 50v cap, the other capacitors are 105° Panasonic FC, Nichicon PW, and Wima film caps at the same uf ratings and the same or higher voltage ratings, and the transistors and diodes are the correct Fairchild/Onsemi subs for the originals. These are the same parts I use when I rebuild Pioneer equipment. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but rebuilding a receiver is moderately complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron, as well as a little heat-sink compound.
