Vintage Akai Stereo Cassette Deck CS-703D - For Parts OR Repair In decent condition cosmetically. Some signs of use, small scratches and scuffs. See pictures. All lights work. Controls all appear to be working (did not test record function). The reason I am selling this for PARTS OR REPAIR is because the speed and sound is off when playing. Wow & flutter is very much off. It plays but just doesn't sound good at all. See short video. I checked the main drive belt and it appears to be in good condition. No dry or cracked. So the issue is very likely something else. Also note: there is a small amount of corrosion to the bottom metal cover, see last 2 pictures. I checked, the rust does NOT extend to the internal components. Sold AS-IS. No returns, no refunds, no exchange and NO partial refunds.
