We are using audio grade 29M6 laminations in a 1" stack and bobbin wound construction. It's a 2x1 interleaved winding with 8000/10000 ohm input impedances and 4,8,16 ohm output impedance. It's surface mounts by 2-holes at 2.82in centers.
Two PNP (MJ21193G) and two NPN (MJ21194G). These were matched from a large batch >100.
