Here's another Fisher 500-B Tube FM Stereo Receiver acquired from the family of the owner. The 70–75-year-old owner would find, buy, collect all kinds of tube electronics. This Fisher receiver is one of the many discarded units.
PLEASE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE DESCRIPTION! These is pretty much a matching set of mono blocks. They have slight variations of lettering and the cages have different tags. Research suggests that one is a kit version of the other, but they look the same to me. They both play and sound good. You can see in the pictures that both have been serviced at some point with newer components. I don’t have any history of the work. Cosmetically they show very well. Very few small traces of corrosion. The chrome is very nice, but will require a good wipe down. AGAIN…PLEASE UNDERSTAND AND LOOK AT THE PICTURES BEFORE COMMITTING TO THE PURCHASE. SOLD AS IS. Beautiful Pioneer SX-780! 45 watts/channel in exceptional condition! Original cabinet and front panel nearly perfect, check out the photos yourself… This unit has been cleaned, updated with LED lighting and modern output transistors. Looks great and sounds great! All it needs is a new home.
