One of the most common failure modes of the Dual 1219, 1229, and1229Q turntables is a frozen single/multi selector lever. If your lever seems stuck, do not force it, as it will break a very difficult to find component.
This Realistic System 200 Model 13-1229 is a vintage combo system that is all in one including AM/FM radio, 5 band Equalizer and dual high speed dubbing cassette decks. It has microphone and headphone jack inserts on the front and speaker, phono and aux/cd inputs on the back. I plugged it in and turned the power on for the radio and it lit up. I do not have speakers or headphones to test it with. The cassette areas have rust on them I’ve shown in the photos. Deck 1 worked with a cassette in it, rewind, play, ff and stop/eject all worked. Deck 2 is missing one of the heads so I didn’t try it. See pictures and review carefully - what you see is what you get.
